This game is the one that started it all for The Cleveland Card Game Players! Jeu de Tarot is France's second most popular card game (Belote being the first). It is currently gaining popularity in the States, thanks to the internet and local card game groups such as this. It has also been included in the last several versions of the software suite known as "Hoyle's Card Games".

Jeu de Tarot is a trick taking game with 5 suits, the extra suit acting as a permanent Trump suit.

The rules are fairly easy to learn, and there is much opportunity for strategic play. This one will have you hooked!

  “ What a great night! 2 games of 3, and gettting to see Joe and Andrea (who don't get to come out to play often) was very nice. After the coffee shop closed, some of us went down the street to another venue and continued to play some more until quite late! All Friday night games should be this good! ”
